I have what may be a simple question, but as I am a new GIS user, I
cant quite figure it out. I am developing a geodatabase complete with
relationship classes. I was hoping to develop queries like in
microsoft access where fields from multiple related feature classes and
tables can be brought in to create table based on the results.
Currently all I am able to do is query one feature class or table at a
time, which in mind defeats the purpose of developing the
relationships. I also need to graphically display the results of the
query, so essential I want to filter all the shapefiles to display only
what is relevant to my query.
For example:
I have feature class: Samplinglocation
and feature class: Facilities
I have a relationship class Facilties_samplinglocation
Ultimately I would like to query for all of the samplinglocations
associated with a particular facility and have only those records
displayed on my basemap.
I appreciate any guidance.
Thanks
Dan
