Dear all

I need to somehow programatically determine the path to the ActiveSync
folder of the currently cradled Pocket Pc on a desktop Pc.

There may be more than one partnership, thus I need to get this path
programatically:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\AJWN__Pocket_PC My
Documents
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\CBC__Pocket_PC My
Documents
etc.

I don't want to have to ask the user to enter this path on the desktop
Pc

Is there any way of getting this path reliably. eg an API call etc

Thanks
Doogie

Hi,
Be careful - they are not always these names especially with Windows Mobile
5.0 devices. The names of the devices and their sync folders are based on
the concept of WM_[Username][number of device].

So I do not know a way to access this other than it's in the registry
however you would have to identify the device that is connected first.
