Hello everytime i connect my ipaq in the usb port, the computer
dectects a wireless adapter and i cant sync. is version 4.0 better
than 4.2 of active sync. does anyone know how to get this to work? i
got bluetooth in my pc but i cant get that to work either thanks.

This has me confused, "...dectects a wireless adapter and i cant sync."
That's what is *supposed* to happen. The device looks like a RNDIS network
adapter to the PC and ActiveSync on the device and ActiveSync on the PC
communicate via this 'network' connection. Tell us what happens when you
"cant sync"...

Well that clears part of my question. The only problem is that the
ipaq show connected and some times or most of the time it show not
connected when it is connected even if the firewall is off.

Please log in for more thread options
And you're not running Norton utilities or any other firewall, no virtual
private networking, no virus scanners that might also block network
activity? There's a troubleshooter in AS 4.2 and later. You could try that
and see if it points to a solution.

Well we have sonicwall firewall vpn but I am not connected, may be the
vpn software is causing the problems. We also have mcaffee but we
dont use the firewall feature. Ill try the troubleshooter.
