 please help me hook my PC monitor up to my toshiba LAPTOP. i hooked the
monitor up with the blue cable to the back of my laptop and only when
windows first starts to boot i get something on my pc monitor. When it
completley boots to windows the PC monitor turns off and i dont know
how to get it back on. Im assuming it should work... but dont know
whats wrong . please help. I cant see well and need this monitor.

you need to locate your Video Cards, Display Manager. Here you set which
monitor you want to use.

mine is located in Start, All Programs, and comes up as ATI Control
Centre...........within this there's a section called Display manager. Here
I can select monitor 1 or 2 (I would suppose 2 would be listed if I had a
second connected)

if the lapy has the socket for a second monitor then I would say yes....
