Ok, I have a wordpress custom field with key "this_key". The value of
this custom field is set as a variable, $this_variable. This custom
field can have a lot of values, each value is meant to point to
different files with code-chunk. In this example, the value is set to
value-1. This value shall again point to value_1_info.php.
So far, so good, it does so. But my script simply returns the url, not
the CONTENT of the file in this url, as it is supposed to do.
<?php $this_variable=get_post_meta($post->ID, "this_key", true);
if ($this_variable == 'value-1')
I hope use this code in my custom single template, in order to not re-
produce large amounts of similar static data. Can anyone see or
suggest what I am missing?

Yep, and it's how do do something in Wordpress. When dealing with a
package, your first place to get help should be that package's support
structure. They are the experts on their product.
By your argument, I should ask Linux administration questions in a C
programming group because Linux is written in C.
