I have cases where I connect to the web site and MySQL is not working

Message : "Too many connection errors", Unblock with 'mysqladmin

What I did is a script that check out /etc/init.d/mysqld status and if
is not running, then, I restart MySQL.

.. Could we think of something better than restart MySQL using an auto-
'mysqladmin flush-hosts'.

This means that MySQL is running, and the host that's connecting (the server
where your script lives) has generated more errors than

Unless max_connection_errors is set very low, I would say this is a symptom
of another problem-- what's causing these connection errors?
