this might be OT here, but I hope you know the answer, though.
I want to program a x-platform IDE for a programming language using a
webborser (GUI) and a simple server console program (using:
http://localhost:someport to communicate).
Now, the text editor should be multi-tabbed. But I wish I could use the tabs
from the web browser. The interaction with the server could/should be done
with Ajax (I think).
But how do I save _all_ documents before i "compile" the project?
I mean - is there some way to communicate between 2 tabs of a browser?

I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to achieve here (what's a
webborser?) but I suspect that this is OT here - the code would mainly
If you mean different browser tabs then yes, you may need to send the
stuff serverside - but why do you need two different browser windows
? What compile?
