"Special" vs. non-special interfaces

when looking at the SPL classes it seems to me that the Countable
interface is the only one that could not be implemented in PHP. So is
there a reason why it is not documented together with the other
internal interfaces (http://de2.php.net/manual/en/

Or do I get things completely wrong and it is actually possible to
implement such a thing using pure PHP? Which would be very interesting
because I have been looking for a way to control the result when an
object is cast to boolean.

It's probably not documented because it's not part of the public API.
Virtually every language has such internal APIs.
