Good Morning Ladies and Gents,

I've run into a bit of problem, i am sure it is something easy but I
just dont know.

I have connected to AD and can output the uNCName from the printQueue

Example of the output:
"\\New Jersey"

I however cannot seem to figure out how to get this to become a link
that when clicked will bring up the windows add a printer wizard.

If i take the exact output (minus the quotes) and past into IE or
Explorer, it works as intended.

I have tried prepending the output with "http:", "file:" and "file:\
\".  It doesnt seem to work.
Has anyone got an idea of how to get the URL setup correctly?

This may be a Web question but then it may also be a Windows question.

Quoted text here. Click to load it

This is not HTTP nor a local file, it is a Windows share. If fopen does
not work, you need something that understands the SMB protocol.

You may access Windows shares from PHP using Victor Varela's classes. I
am just not sure if you need to have the Samba package installed too.
