- Pasing values into a script

I have a few links which are going to be used by the same script. I
would like the script to recognize which link was used. I know that I
can pass values into script by forms and then read them from super
globals $_POST or $_GET whichever method was used.
However, how can I do that without forms, e.g. if I have the tag "a"
<a href="script.php">ble ble</a>
how can I pass anything into script?
