I know this might be a little bit off topic, but I'm looking for some
kind of web service which will let me save a snapshot of a page (like
archive.org) so I can later have a proof that it was online. Preferably
it would crawl through the site and save serveral pages.
I haven't found anything on google. Maybe someone here used something
like this to have a proof that he made the application in time?

If the site has been spidered by Google and is in their cache, wouldn't
that be enough proof?
Then there's always the option of taking a snap of your browser.
Of course, server logs are the best.

It depends what you are trying to achieve. For most purposes using a
proxy to log the access might be the best way to go. Alternatively you
could record the interaction with a network sniffer (like wireshark).
These methods will record what you did on the website - and the latter
will include the content you got back (but not if its via SSL).
Using a spider will copy the content of the website - not what your
