Mook Vacancy: Junior Web Developer
THIS VACANCY IS FULL-TIME, ON-SITE IN OUR LONDON OFFICE

Mook (http://www.mook.co.uk ) is a creative digital consultancy
specializing in engaging communications for consumer audiences. It is
five years old, independent and features in both the current Marketing
and NMA 'Top 100 new media agency' listings. Its management team
includes Phil Jones, formerly Vice Chairman of EHS Brann, and draws
together industry leaders from design, communications and technology.
Passionate about the effectiveness of its creative work, the
consultancy's continuing aim is to build strong, lasting
relationships with its clients, which include Channel 4, Disney, The
Football Association, ITV, MTV Networks Europe, Nickelodeon UK &
Europe, Sport England, The Sunday Times, the V&A, Virgin EMI and
Junior Web Developer required to work in conjunction with the
technical, design and production teams to assist in the creation of
dynamic websites, online games and CD-ROM content. This role is be on
the technical side, working closely with the design team to execute the
desired creative solution.
Web page production and site building.
HTML/DHTML/CSS 1&2 and other relevant technologies required to build
websites to the latest standards.
A sound working knowledge of accessibility and usability best
Solid understanding of browser and platform compatibility issues.
Intermediate-level scripting ability (PHP/MySQL preferred).
Familiarity with web design software (Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia
Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator).
Excellent communication skills.
Motivated and consistently reliable.
Proactive and works on own initiative.
Good sense of humour and easy going nature.
The salary for this position will be dependant upon experience - in the
range of approx. £18k-£22k.
