I have this error coming up when I try to connect to mySQL.
"Call to undefined function mysql_connect()....................."
I know MySQL is working as I've been using it from DOS.
And I know PHP is working as well as I've been using it...
I suspect that there is nothing to connect MySQL to PHP though.
I notice in the MySQLadmin window that the MyOBDC connection says
Driver 3.51 Not Found"
How Do I fix this?
Re: Newbie: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
containing <;extension=php_mysql.dll>, but you have to remove the semicolon
so that PHP can talk to MySQL through this file.
Don't worry about the MyODBC error from MySQLadmin - it is just reporting
that the ODBC (Open Data base Connectivity) driver cannot be found, but as
you are not using it there is no problem.
