it's probably been asked a thousand time before but...the distro of Linux I
have is fedora core 5. the httpd.conf file isn't in an apache directory it's
in a httpd path. i have httpd switched on and I get the default apache info.
fine. i've run the phpinfo script from the command line and it does what it
is supposed to, nothing happens when I place it in www/var and try and run
it as localhost/test.php, i have the permissions set correctly.  I've seen
where I need to add something to httpd.conf in order to get Apache to run
php through the browser. i haven't seen a php of type file in any of the
paths, but there is a php.ini. file. any help appreciated.
