Hi to everybody, for more than 5 years i am engaged in web
programming, especially in perl, but last year i'm fully in php
Nowadays php is just a hard hoby. So, after some time of development,
and with understanding the major basics of opensource, i would like to
present to large php community my system.I've called it - Gepard, for
its speed.
You can download it from: /.
What inspired me to this development?
Firstly - architecture of systems, like joomla, drupal, etc., is not
optimized and is ugly. These systems are very slow. In Gepard i've
used new type architecture, which is prety fast and scalable.
Secondary - code. Everything should be clear. Much code - less kernel.
There are many features, i can explain and present.
p.s. you can install it throw web interface and in console mode.
Please, download it, and send some reviews, it's very important for

Re: new project

Can you post something like this:
in English so people can read more about the project before downloading?
Or maybe you could install a demo somewhere so everyone can see the product
before downloading and installing?

Have you noticed that you mention some competitors but don't really say
what your project is? ;-P

And when are you going to learn to write intelligible postings?

Anyone who slaps a 'this page is best viewed with Browser X' label on
a Web page appears to be yearning for the bad old days, before the Web,
when you had very little chance of reading a document written on another
computer, another word processor, or another network. -- Tim Berners-Lee

While recognizing that this is an English language forum, you should
also recognize that English is not necessarily everyone's first/
strongest language.  I'd love to see how well you do posting to a
Ukrainian language group.

If you can reasonably understand the post, there's no problem.  If you
can't, you can either try to ask clarifying questions, or just move
on.  There's never a cause to be insulting because someone doesn't
have a firm grasp on the language.

Don't bother with Pointed Ears.  He's a well known troll from several

English is not my native language, too.  Writing proper English, although
highly desirable and perhaps a must-have in an international forum like this
newsgroup (English being the lingua franca of technology), is well beside
the point.  He doesn't seem to have a firm grasp on *writing*, regardless of
the language, and that makes the posting unreadable.  It is not, for
example, that Ukrainian, is so different in punctuation than English.

I cannot ask for clarification of something I need to decipher in the first
place (in contrast to a great many other postings in English so far).  I can
only ask that it be written readable.  Since that is the first duty of
everyone wishing to incite useful responses to their texts, it should not
come as a surprise that when this basic duty has not been fulfilled the
request for it comes with a bit of sarcasm.
