I haven't used php before, but now I have a need.

What I am trying to do is this:

I pull some info from my database (using Coldfusion).  In that info are
color codes for a specific product.  Currently I have a <div> tag that
has its background color set to the color that is pulled from the

What I would like to do is have a box, with a diag. line through it
from corner to corner, one side of the divided box being the 1st color
of the product, and the 2nd half of the box being the other color code.

I was wondering if you PHP experts could help me with the code to get
this done???

The title of your post does not clearly indicate what you want. Of
course you are looking for some help, or else you would not post here.

A diagonal line is hard to do in HTML. You could have a vertical line
by using a table and setting the colors of two cells. If you insist on
having a diagonal line, you may want to use two overlapping transparent

The limit of 'graphics' in HTML, practically, is rectangular blocks.
If you're proposing to use PHP anyway, look at the various graphics  
libraries available in PHP, and generate the item as a PNG.
