I am in a fairly busy situation where I am developing a number of
fairly small PHP applications that are one-off. I will be
responsible for maintaining and upgrading them for some years.
I have to date hand written the code, but am now looking at using
a MVC framework to be more productive.
I looked at CakePHP and ZendFramework first, but fear that I
would take a big productivity hit while learning them.
I am now looking at CodeIgniter which seems to have a much less
steep learning curve.
I invite comments on CodeIgniter. I don't want to start a
"discussion" on the best framework.
