i found an open source benchmark project at =
that includes some of the most widespread databases:
- Oracle Berkeley DB ( /
- STSdb( )
- Perst ( )
- MySQL (server)
- MS SQL Server CE
- Access
- HamsterDB ( /)
- SQLite
- Db4objects
- Firebird
- H2 ( )

Database Benchmark(GNU GPL) on it allows to simulate the performance
and behavior of different database managment systems during work with
large number of records(etc. 1M, 10=ED). You can see diagrams of
performance, query speed, amount of occupied memory ....
to be able to work it must have installed .NET 3.5 (Mono for Linux)

You mean you spammed a newsgroup to advertise your sourceforge project,
which, incidentally, appears to have some flaws.

So I gave it a bad review.

Do I need a new pair of glasses or did you not include PostgreSQL?
That would be like comparing beers and forget all from Belgium.

make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the
other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious
deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult."

always a waste of time... why everyone makes a virtue of what is after
all, merely a historical accdent - a way to drink sterilised water by
concocting weak alcoholic drinks..

  and forget all from Belgium.

sadly, that is a fact of life.

The sun come up, and the sun go down
the hands on the clock
go roun an roun
I jess get up
and its time to lay down.

I must be in Brussels.
Probably on a Euro parliament salary.
