I'm  a new programmer in PHP and I want to create a dynamic
application form. I've designed a database to define the form items,
like number of pages and the questions which must be displayed in each
page, and the type of possible answers. for example if the question is
"What is you age?", the answer type would be a text box which accepts
numbers not more 2 digits. any help, thought, or comments would be

Thank you

If you mean limit to 2 digits *as you type* then this is a Javascript issue.
PHP has no control over the page once it has been sent to the browser.

However, what if your viewer is one hundred and one years old?

Aside: I once filled in a demographic survey at a ski hill in California
which *insisted* that my postcode (zip code) had to have 5 digits. My
postcode contains 4 digits. I had to lie, telling the survey that I lived in
Mammoth rather than Sydney, Australia. Their demographics were totally
screwed, every Australian was reported as living in Mammoth.
