the logo depending on whether the url is .com or .co.uk The logo is in
a header file that is included in all sites.
The site is not up yet so I can't test anything and I'm not sure how the
hosting company will set this up. Which server variable will be best to
use to detect .com or .co.uk? HTTP_HOST? Or is there another way?

Re: Changing content for .com site
Definitely the best way to go.
If you want to do it for *any* page, not just PHP-enabled ones, consider
doing it with the mod_rewrite Apache directives. Would be much faster and
the page does not need to be PHP. There's tons of books and online stuff on
how mod_rewrite works. Just look it up.
I warn you though: mod_rewrite is like the "Dark Side of the Force." Once
you start using it you'll never want to go back.
