create an on-demand image consisting of some fixed graphics and some
user-entered text rendered in a user-selected font. This is something
like the various font websites allow you to do, to see your own text
in a font you've chosen. I'm guessing that I can do this in PHP, but
I'm not sure where to look for the suitable PHP image and text
rendering functions. So, can somebody give me some function names or
other keywords to help my get oriented? Many thanks.
Re: Can I render a font-specific text image on demand?
If you are a newbie the first thing to get familiar with is: www.php.net
Go there, and type in the 'search for' textelement: image

make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the
other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious
deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult."
