When I started using Worpress (php weblog) for my site my
Adsense earnings basicly disappeared. I noticed that my home page (the first
page) has no valid ads on them. From a search on the web I understand the
issue of not having enough text in the index.php file where the adsense
script is but... when I click a category then the ads are fine. Same
index.php...So I understand the problem but have not found a reasonable
What I do now is go around the issue by having a index.html as an entrance
to the site. Not a nice solution but it works... Did anybody solve this
problem in a better way?

Quoted text here. Click to load it

Try including the php source within an HTML page like so:

html file... (come out of HTML immediately)

....your code
// now back to html here

and call it index.html. As long as your server is set up to process all html
files through PHP first it will work.

Re: Adsense & php

I've had a lot of AdSense ads appear in both pages ending .php and
pages ending .html - and, indeed, pages ending with something else
proprietary to my site.
I'd suspect something else is to blame - not the .php ending.
