 some of the recordings i've scheduled keep coming back.
i'll delete them, and they'll be gone from the guide until a couple weeks
later when the show re-airs.

i don't think i'm deleting the scheduled recording incorrectly?
and no, the shows aren't scheduled as series.

is there some way to permanently delete scheduled recordings?
maybe the entire history?

 You will have tp delete the series info, go to,

Mu TV > Recordings > Scheduled > Series> (Then delete what you dont want.)
