I just got into playing around with WWW::Mechanize too. It has worked
for me on at least one site that requires cookies (yp.yahoo.com).
I have had trouble with two sites that use SSL. I did install
IO::Socket::SSL and was able to work with some sites, but two of them
would not submit the username and password to the next page.
I have been using HTTP::Recorder to help, but it does not work over
I doubt that cookies are used intentionally to stop WWW::Mechanize, but
