and to crash on others.
The error message is always:
Bad protocol 'tcp' when it fails to run
The code is:
my $socket = IO::Socket::INET->new ($Socket_type =>
LocalAddr => '0.0.0.0',
LocalPort => $port,
Proto => 'tcp',
Listen => 10,
Reuse => 1
die "Could not create a server on port: $@\n" unless $socket;
I am using ActiveState's Perl 5.8 All computers are 100% identical
in terms of Perl installation
