I had a new idea for a module last night that I'd like to share with
you: Git::Filter. What it would do would be to take some of the pain
out of using git filter-branch, allowing you to write your filter
commands as a Perl script instead of as inline shell commands, in case
you're not comfortable with shell scripting (like myself) or you'd
like to save a particular filter for later.
I realize that this module should be seldom used (since git filter-
branch should be seldom used), but it would make using it a lot easier
on the occasions that merit its use.
