I tried to install various Perl modules on our two 64-bit systems
(both are Linuxes) - for example, the XML::Dumper. I'm using the
regular installation sequence:
perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=...
It installs everything into the "lib" subdirectory on one system, and
into the "lib64" subdirectory on another one.
I'd like to know, what is happening here. How does the perl decide,
which library directory it should create? Are there any options to
affect this decision?
