- How to join a list which has null elements

I am getting a row with 10 columns from database in a @row variable. I
want to form a colon separated string out of it. I used:
$rowAsAKey = join ":",@row;
But if any column has NULL as the value, then perl throws a runtime
Use of uninitialized value in join or string at line 190.
One way is to replace all NULLs with an empty string, how can I do
Any other work around this?
Re: How to join a list which has null elements
That is a warning message.
A warning message is not the same as an error message.
There is nothing about modules in your post.
Please post to an appropriate newsgroup.
my $rowAsAKey = join ":", map defined() ? $_ : '', @row;
email: perl -le "print scalar reverse qq/moc.noitatibaher0cmdat/"
