downloaded the PalmOS simulator and would like to use that program in
conjunction with my laptop and DSL connection to view these pages, but I
don't know if that's possible.
When I click "Internet" I'm asked to choose an internet profile between
"Test: On-board NIC LAN" and "Test: Windows RAS/Serial". If I choose "Test:
On-board NIC LAN" and click "Go online" I receive an error message saying,
"No working network connection could be found. Your Palm Powered device will
be offline until a connection is available." I do not choose "Test: Windows
RAS/Serial" because my Internet connection is through a DSL modem, not a
There are two other connection types I may use, either "Use PC's Network" or
"Test: Ethernet Cradle/Cable" but I've been unable to connect using either
of these also. In particular, the "Use PC's Network" option asks for a
password, and I'm unclear what it's asking for. Password to what?
So those are my questions: 1. Is it possible to view web pages using the
PalmOS simulator on a PC? and 2. If so, how? Any help would be appreciated.
