I have had my Tungsten E2 for about 9 months(probably my last Palm
after the headaches with this one)anyway, I haven't been able to sync
since late June. I have visited the Palm support web site and
Brighthand web forums(very good site)for help but no one seems to have
a solution although it seems to be a common occurrence. I am wondering
if anyone had a similar issue and if they have been able to solve it.
I hear three rapid beeps and the palm attempts to sync but the pc
doesn't recognize it. Some of the things I have tried:
Cable and Cradle hotsync
Uninstalled the program and reinstall on numerous occassions
sync to both notebook and desktop with same results
open device manager to see yellow exclamation mark next to palm asking
for drivers which I haven't been able to locate or install
reinstalled windows xp on laptop(had to do so anyway)and installed
palm software again with the same results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you'r e still around, clean both the cable & E2 contacts.
