Re: Palm Tungsten T3: Delete all contacts and calendar?
Try the program Undupe to remove duplicate calendar and contact entries (trial
correct your problem just fine; thus, no reason to purchase it). Here's the link:
Otherwise, you could delete the datebook database on your Palm handheld. You
would need a file
manager, like FileZ (freeware). Here's the link:
If you choose to go the FileZ route, here's a screenshot of what the the
datebook database looks
Just delete the database. Afterwards, close FileZ and relaunch your database
should be blank. Now just make sure when you hotsync that you set your datebook
'desktop overwrites handheld', at least once. Afterwards, just set it up to so
they synchronize. If
you want everything blank, both on the handheld and desktop, then setup your
to 'handheld overwrites desktop' (CAUTION: This will remove all datebook entries
locations, the Palm and desktop software.)
As for the contacts, I suggest using Undupe; however, there is an AddressDB on
the Palm you could
delete. Although, there are several other related databases, such as
AddressCity, AddressState, etc.
you may wish the delete as well. That's why I suggest you try Undupe first.
