Tungsten T2, no really, nothing wrong, but I feel like a change - and it's
my birthday coming up too.
Prudence tells me something around the £200 / $300 point. I need Bluetooth
to work with our GPS dongle, but I don't need a combination device any
more... I also don't need WiFi, it's too power hungry in my opinion. But I
do need good battery life.
My initial reaction is "Palm TX," and until recently it had to run PalmOS
because of an application I run. I no longer need this application so I
could jump ship to PocketPC... however my experience of PPCs hasn't been
wonderful over the years. My last PPC device, an Acer n30, was a decent

Any ideas? Other than an argument about PalmOS or PocketPC... :)

Why not TX? If You turn off WiFi it does not suck any battery power. Im
aiming it as my first PDA too, but i'm still considering options - maybe
Dell Axim X30 (i would like Wifi though), maybe HP IPAQ 2210 or 2110 (both
without WiFi). All PDA are in the same price range (below $300 for used
ones in Poland)

everything was under control.
Yup, agree - if I had WiFi I'd use it from time to time, if only to upset
those people with PDAs who didn't have it but wanted it.
But I kinda don't need it... I'm loathe to pay for something I don't need.
My iPAQ in the past was a great piece of kit, hardware wise. It was a
H3950. However, software and stability were big issues. I'm a heavy duty
PIM used and ActiveSync had an appalling habit of duplicating records left,
right and centre.
