at least two types of devices made by Palm and HP. There are other mfgs but I
hear these are the most popular.
I have seen models by the above two such as the Palm Zire 72 and HP IPaq
Is there a site that discusses the technology and the advantages of these two
different types of these devices.
Do the Palm and HP basically perform the same functions?
Is one better than the other when doing certain tasks?
Is one faster than the other doing certain tasks?
I need to use programs such as Word and Excel and basic other functions such as
calendar and organizer.
Will they both play MP3's, movies, and e-books?
Thank you for any advice on the above.
Re: HP vs Palm - Is there any difference in what they do?
There are several sites devoted to each PDA OS (Palm versus Pocket PC
In many cases yes.
Yes, but it depends on the specific task you are asking about. Palm does
some things better than PPC and PPC does some thing better than Palm.
Yes, see above...
They will both handle Word and Excel documents. Many people feel that Docs
To Go on the Palm has better support for Microsoft documents than PPC
Yes if you get the right model and the right SW for the PDA.
