My mobile device is running a WIN CE 5.0
I need to test if a power faliure (reset) on my mobile device can
corrupt the File System (FAT) on the device.
It should not only corrupt the file that is being written, but the
entire file system to an extent that other files/folders are affected.
How can i corrupt it.??
and ,which Tool do i use use to check the errors. (ckhdsk does not give
too much extended info)??

It would be easy if the flash memory can be removed and installed in
another machine, or if Linux is available for your device (I am not
saying that Linux corrupts file systems, but it gives you the power, as
root, to write directly to any device.) On the other hand, if you want
to test whether a power failure can corrupt the file system, perhaps you
could set up a switch to cut off the power hundreds of times over a 24
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to paint it.
