like it and it's handy for insecure passwords, addresses and the like.
Only problem is I've just had to reinstall XP so I've subsequently lost
the drivers, and I've lost the CDs due to a recent house move.
OK. Went to the Handspring website to find they've been taken over by
Palm. Anyway the serial number of the Visor is required before I'm
allowed the drivers and Palm desktop software. No problem - open the
battery cover. Serial number sticker has been nicked considerably, and
the numbers no longer are there.... Ah.
Can't find any serial numbers or alternative download sites on the net,
and I'm left with a perfectly usable palmtop and USB hotsync but no
drivers. I really don't want to throw this Palmtop out, and I'd like to
get my info off this device, if I can.
Can anyone help with either a Visor serial number or an alternative
download site? Please?
