Changing Time Zones

I'm sure this has been asked 100 times, but I have yet to find an
answer anywhere. I entered some appointments into palm desktop while in
the Mountain time zone. Now that I'm in the Central time zone,
everything is shifted by 1 hour.
Is there a way to repair this and stop it from happening again without
me having to go in and change every single entry by hand?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Changing Time Zones

I guess I don't understand the question.

I have a number of things in Calendar (on the Palm) which is Date Book
on the Palm Desktop program. I live in mountain time zone. When I
travel to Central time zone I change my Palm's clock setting to
Central. But all my items in Calendar/Datebook still say the same times
as they always did, for instance, anything scheduled at 8:00 AM still
says 8:00 AM. They alarm will now sound at 8:00 AM Central. If I want
the alarm to sound at 8:00 SM mountain then I have to change the Palm's
main clock back to mountain time.

I don't know your situation, but lets say you want to set an event with
alarm to sound at 8 AM everyday. It will sound at the 8 AM of the
particualr time zone you are in. To my knowledge there is no other way
it can be.

It sounds like you are saying that you want to move all the items to a
different hour UTC. I have never heard of any way to do this other than
to one by one change them. Maybe I am misunderstanding your question?

On my TX, when I make a new appt, I can either set it to a time zone, or
set it to 'No time zone'. This has the effect of turning on/off the
feature that is bugging you. It's located on the screen where you choose
the appt time.
