In the Gatesian world, I used stuff like Sandra to benchmark PCs.
I was seeking something as a Linux live CD, so I could check either
Windoze or Penguin boxes. I came across Phoronix Test Suite, which
seems almost what I want. It is intended for newer systems with
64-bit CPU and lots of RAM. I also wish to trying it older relics
out of curiosity. Are there other benchmarkers out there on a Linux
