I installed the MSN toolbar and it indexed my drives.
I wanted to try desktop search but it says "no items found"
and "nothing found".
Indexing Service is on by default and allowed to index my drives.

What could be the problem?

thanks in advance

Indexing Services and MSN Desktop Search co-exist quite nicely.

Sorry for sounding patronizing but - search on a word you know exists within
your My Documents folder and verify your index has been built.

Hi, I posted in another article that we are seeign the same problems on some
computers. With all daft operator problems out the way there is definately
something wrong with the code in certain situations, or may be the victim of
some other problem on the clients.

Eithe way, I have a support call open with MS on this and await an answer or
tips on diagnosis.
