avoid this new search engine, cuil.com, it's a publicity stunt just to
get people to try it and then they can sell out, probably to Google.

For example, I tried this search: "Google Groups" and got: We didn=92t
find any results for =93google groups=94

You can try ask.com for an alternative to Google, but I've found that
ask.com also is not that great because it has more holes than Google
and also takes longer to load.

Why on Earth would Google buy it?
If YOU spotted it's a dud, I'm guessing Google saw that 9 months ago.

Dream on, old son, dream on!

Not very useful. The images they throw in completely distract from
the result snippets, and the images often don't have anything to do
with the page they link to.

I agree.

Search for First People

I see a number of sites that it has used my logo for and yet that
image is not on any of those sites. And yet my site doesn't show my
logo but some other site instead.

Links fail to work at times even though the URL is correct.
Also fails - at times - to show results for page 2 onwards.

Big pile of shite if you ask me.
Waaaaaaaaay too early to go live with IMHO.
