In one of my random readings (which I can't recollect) I had found that
certain default kernel settings of freebsd allow a fairly small amount
of certain resources (like probably open file handles, or maybe
processes, or threads etc.. )

So what default freebsd settings are needed to be adjusted to allow for
a busy site running say, MySQL, PHP and Apache ?

Also in general, any tips on tweaking freebsd for a busy site would be

Same for MySQL.
