 Any recomendations for some headphones for use wit the mot. mpx220? I'm
interested and using it as a mini mp3 / media player.

 Your issue is not the headphones. It's the 2.5mm jack on the MPX. Get an
adapter, http://stores.ebay.com/esoTechTrix, and use whatever standard
stereo headphones you like.

Keep in mind that these adapters only do the stereo out, not the mic in, so
if you get a call, you'll have to yank the cord. If you want a stereo
headset/mic combo that fits the unit correctly, they are available,
http://store.yahoo.com/e3wireless/mooemonetost.html. It's a Motorola HS120,
and you can google for it for prices. You just have to accept the quality
though. It's not bad, but it's not Sennheiser.

Is the output true stereo? And if i used the motorola piece with call
answering option, is the conversation doubled into stereo?

I saw an HP labeled stereo headphones with 2.5mm adapter (the headphone are
just regular old cheap headphones) for $10 at the local Office Depot.
