There are two system devices in the Windows XP device manager that say
"ACPI fan". I have software that monitors the "ACPI thermal zone"
and gives the cpu temperature, but not the fan speeds. Is there any
software that monitors the ACPI fans and gives the fan speeds? I
have tried speedfan and it doesn't monitor the fans. You would think
that if XP detects the fans in device manager that some software would
be able to monitor the devices.
