Hi!
After getting into a corner with Apache::Request (2), which won't
build under 1.99_14 (prerequisite 15), I got the following when trying
to do make mod_perl 1.99.16 (latest download).
Make: Don't know how to make dynamic. Stop.
*** Error exit code 1
Stop.
Interestingly, 1.99_14 did not have this problem and made well (and
tested, and even loaded and ran, albeit uselessly as I discovered
$r->content and $r->param needed Apache::Request, which is not
available for 1.99_14 (or is it?)
Here is what my system is:

Some people who have had this problem report that using
gmake (gnu make) works.
