Hi, i'm having difficulty with the shift keys on one of my company's
mobilepro's. neither of them work.
when hit, you hear the key press sound (the default winCE keyclick),
but it doesn't modify the next key pressed.
i.e. hit 'shift-a' and still get lower case a...
HOWEVER...
if i hit shift and hold it, then another key, then release the shift
while holding the other key, i get the uppercase letter.
i thought it might be software...but it still does it with another rom
from another MP. (same with a rom from a 790 too...)
took keyboard out and cleaned it. still no luck.
odd that it affects BOTH shift keys (and ONLY the shift keys)
on opposite sides of the keyboard.
any suggestions?
