I just did a clean install after SP3 destroyed my registry. I have disabled
messenger, but Media Center is still trying to find it, even though I have
turned it off in Media Center as per this post:

if you don't use it, you can go into Settings in Media Center (Settings,
Messenger and Caller ID) and uncheck the Messenger option.

I already removed it, but Media center is still trying to find it.
What should I do now?
