Burn Recorded Show to Video DVD in Windows Media Center

Threaded View
I have successfully downloaded a recorded TV show in Windows Media
Center to a video DVD.

However, when I play it on either my PC or another DVD player the
picture is only in the centre of the screen, with black on either
side, about half the size it should be.

Can anyone help me with this please?

Also does anyone know of a faster way of doing this as it takes ages
to burn to DVD?

Thanks.

Did you try the More Info button and Zoom?

Thank you Doug

No, I didn't.  Everything seems so complicated that I never even
thought of the simple answer, so, thank you.

I even found a button on my DVD player remote that changes the size of
the picture - amazing!

Interestingly, it's only the programmes from the US that this happens
on e.g. House, CSI, etc. all the programmes here in the UK don't seem
to have this problem.

So, thanks again, it's taken me a long time to even get the 'video
DVD' option and it would have been a shame to have fallen at the last
hurdle.
