SELinux spamming /var/log/messages

I setup SNMP logging to monitor free disk space. Since then I have
this kind of message filling my /var/log/messages log files.

Nov  2 16:04:16 bengil kernel: audit(1288728256.150:53508): avc:
denied  { getattr } for  pid=6826 comm="snmpd" name="/" dev=sdb1 ino=2
scontext=system_u:system_r:snmpd_t tcontext=system_u:object_r:file_t

 I can't seem to figure out why I'm getting these. Any ideas?
