Does anyone know of a way to reliably test a system for vulnerability?
I haven't been able to successfully exploit my own systems using any of
the information (and code) discussed on these pages and others leading
from it.  Perhaps there's an interaction with vm.mmap_min_addr that is
affecting my ability to successfully test this?  (I admit I'm guessing,
though.)  I would feel a whole lot better about upgrading to latest
kernel releases if I believed doing so would actually fix an important
problem rather than just adding new ones ...
