I was wondering how and where permissions checks are made by the
kernel. Suppose for example I want to create a socket and connect to
it. I will call first socket and later connect. At same some point the
kernel must ensure I can effectively have the permissions for this,
maybe checking my uid against some predetermined. Where is this done
in the source? How does it work?
Also some documentation would be helpful.
