live CD for VPN client use?

Is there such a thing as a live Linux CD that would allow for remote
access over VPN, and maybe to local printers though that's not strictly
required?  We need to close down threat vectors, e.g. no access to local
files which might be infected, while allowing full access to remote
applications that would run in a local/live X session.  I'm thinking
that a live CD or a VNC sort of solution might be good.  But, I don't
know what's out there along these lines.

Make your own live CD. It's fairly simple.
